How we make money

The short answer: today the site makes no money at all. It carries no adverts, no affiliate links and no sponsored pages, and no operator pays for anything on it.

Possible sources of income, and whether they are used

SourceUsed on this site?Why
Affiliate commission for sign-ups or deposits sent to an operatorNoIt would turn every guide into a sales page for a bonus, and it would need the Authority's advertising approval under section 87(1) of the Act.
Adverts from gambling operatorsNoSection 87(1) requires the Authority's approval for any gambling advert, and rule 8 of L.N. 114 sets the content each approved advert must carry.
Adverts from other businessesNoThey would mean advertising scripts and advertising cookies. This site loads neither.
Sponsored or paid guidesNoA paid page about bonus terms cannot be independent of the party paying for it.
Paid listings, rankings or featured offersNoThe site publishes no rankings and no offers of any kind.
Selling reader dataNoThe site sells no data. It has no forms or accounts, and the analytics data described on the privacy page goes to Google and is not sold.
Reader donations or subscriptionsNoThere is no payment channel, and no publisher entity has been named to receive money.

The law behind the absence of operator links

Section 87(1) of the Gambling Control Act, 2025 says a person shall not promote the advertisement of a gambling activity on an electronic medium or any other form of communication without the Authority's approval. Breaching section 87 carries a fine of up to KES 20,000,000, imprisonment of up to 20 years, or both (section 87(4)).

The Gambling Control (Advertising) Regulations, 2026 (L.N. 114) fill in the detail. An advertiser applies on Form 1 at least seven days before a campaign starts (rule 5). Every approved advert must show items such as the licence number, a responsible-gambling message and the words "authorized and regulated by the Gambling Regulatory Authority" (rule 8). No gambling advert may carry a call to action, testimonials or former winners (rule 9).

Rule 2 defines an advertisement as any communication promoting participation in a gambling activity, through digital media among others. This site reads that definition as covering an affiliate link that invites readers to take up a bonus. It has no approval, so it has no such links.

What would happen first if that changed

If the publisher ever decided to earn from gambling operators, the order is fixed in advance:

  1. the publisher's legal entity would be named on the about page and the contact page;
  2. this page would be rewritten to name every paying party and the type of payment, before any paid link appeared;
  3. the Authority's advertising approval under section 87(1) would be obtained, and its reference published here;
  4. paid material would be labelled as advertising where it appears, and the guides would keep their rules: no rankings and no claims about which offer to take.

Until all of that has happened, the answer at the top of this page stands: no income.

What this means for you

Nothing on the site is paid for to steer you towards an operator or an offer. When a guide explains a clause, it has no reason to make that clause sound better or worse than it reads. The cost of a bonus is shown in full, including the part the headline leaves out.

It also means there is nothing here beyond the pages themselves: no newsletter, no app and no mailing list to join.
